Job Description
Marketing Director (m/f/d) LIVE Germany
Essential Functions:

Develops marketing strategy and initiatives ensuring cross-functional alignment and cohesion.

Tightly connects with the Sales team to ensure optimal execution of marketing campaigns and usage of field team’s insights for campaign development.

Leads the Marketing team and drives advancement of the unit’s marketing capabilities with a focus on development of competencies, state-of-the-art tools and processes.

Develops strong cross-functional narrative and communication plan, drives generation of relevant content per customer segment, and develops multi-channel design for optimal impact.

Generates relevant market insights, establishes adequate performance indicators and forecasts demand and portfolio performance, in close collaboration with Business Analytics.

Empowers Brand Teams in daily planning, decision making and execution of brand strategy and plans

Sets clear objectives for marketing initiatives, measures progress and success, and generates relevant learnings.

Ensures optimal allocation of marketing resources, both personnel and expenses, and diligently manages budget.

Ensures all marketing activities comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Engages to advance the care infrastructure together with external stakeholders, and in close collaboration with internal functional teams, such as Medical and Market Access.Steers coordinated opinion leader engagement and further evolves strategic partnerships.
Essential experience, knowledge, and skills:

Strong strategic thinking skills with ability to see the big picture and to formulate and execute strategy

Proven leadership skills with an ability to set a vision, to inspire, to champion change, drive innovative thinking and influence across functions

Has a track record of of motivating teams & create an environment of high performance, with personal Sales experience being a plus.

Requires relevant product launch experience in Rx market paired with substantial experience in driving brand performance at later stages of the product lifecycle.

Strong pharmaceutical market expertise, particularly with regards to health economy, access and reimbursement, product lifecycle, and applicable knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Must possess ability to foster close collaboration with Medical affairs at eye-level, hence requires ability to embrace science and meaningfully leverage Medical expertise for the design and implementation of strategies.

Strong interpersonal savviness with ability to establish robust professional relationships, create alignment, resolve conflict, inspire others.

Self-starter mentality, taking personal ownership. Ability to navigate through ambiguity, remain focused and prioritize carefully

Fluency in conversational German and English.

Able to travel up to 20% of time.
