The Business Integration Lead will focus on the end-to-end business requirements design for the plan, make, source, and deliver functions. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of the business are considered and integrated into the Transcend 2.0 template. By working closely with legacy ERP systems and S4 Process functions, you will design a future-proof template that meets the evolving needs of the organization.

The role involves planning, aligning, and executing Supply Chain activities for approved projects, including new product launches, product line extensions, network optimization, acquisitions, divestitures, product design changes, and cold chain supply projects.

This individual will collaborate with project leaders, regional supply & demand planners, supply network planners, the Master Data Management team, and regulatory and quality assurance teams to foster effective relationships and processes, ensuring successful achievement of project goals.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Collaboration:

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: This individual will collaborate with functional leaders in planning, manufacturing, sourcing, and delivery to ensure all business requirements are effectively captured and integrated into the Transcend 2.0 template.
  • Legacy ERP and S4 Process Integration: Collaborating with teams responsible for legacy ERP systems and S4 Process functions is crucial.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization is essential. This includes gathering input, addressing concerns, and ensuring that the new template aligns with the overall business strategy and goals.

Leadership:

  • Vision and Strategy: As a leader, this individual will execute the vision and strategy for the business requirements design. This involves setting clear objectives, outlining the roadmap, and ensuring that the team is aligned with the overall goals of the Transcend 2.0 initiative.
  • Decision-Making: This individual will be responsible for making critical decisions related to the design and implementation of the new template. This includes prioritizing requirements, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that the project stays on track.
  • Driving Change: Leading the change management efforts is a key aspect of this role. You will act as a champion for the Transcend 2.0 initiative, promoting its benefits, and ensuring that the organization is prepared for the changes it will bring.
  • Mentorship and Support: Providing guidance and support to their team members is essential. This includes mentoring them, addressing their challenges, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Execution:

  • Establishes Testing Strategy: Defines and executes the overall business testing strategy in collaboration with the functional leads. This involves outlining the scope, objectives, and methodologies to ensure comprehensive and effective testing of the business processes and systems. It also includes identifying key performance indicators and success metrics.
  • Business Requirements Management: Plans, sources, and delivers business requirements definition and validation. This entails gathering and documenting detailed business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring that these requirements align with the overall project goals, and validating them through various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Validates Functional Design: Oversees the validation of the Transcend 2.0 functional design. This means ensuring that the system design meets the specified business requirements and performs as expected. It involves conducting thorough reviews, tests, and evaluations to confirm that the design is functional and efficient.
  • Clarifies Requirements: Acts as the primary contact for the clarification of all business requirements. This role involves addressing any ambiguities or uncertainties regarding the business requirements, providing clear explanations, and ensuring that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of the project objectives and expectations.
  • Drives Validation Strategy: Leads the functional business validation strategy. This includes developing and implementing a validation plan that ensures all business requirements are met. It involves coordinating with different teams to conduct tests, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Ensures System Integration: Verifies that overall architecture and satellite systems integrate effectively with business requirements. This responsibility involves ensuring that all components of the system work seamlessly together and that any integrations with external systems are properly managed and tested.
  • Defines Reporting Integration: Sets up overall functional reporting integration and requirements. This involves defining the reporting needs of the business, ensuring that the reports are accurate, relevant, and timely, and that they provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Facilitates Communication: Serves as a key liaison between the Transcend GTO network and the business at all levels. This role involves ensuring effective communication and collaboration between different teams, addressing any issues or concerns, and facilitating the smooth flow of information throughout the organization.
  • Supports Business Adoption: Acts as a conduit for business adoption of Transcend initiatives. This includes promoting the benefits of the initiatives, addressing any resistance or challenges, and ensuring that the business units are fully supported and engaged throughout the adoption process.
  • Sets Hyper Care Requirements: Establishes hyper care requirements and key success criteria for project exit. This involves defining the criteria for a successful project transition, ensuring that all necessary support and resources are in place for the post-implementation phase, and monitoring the project to ensure it meets the defined success criteria.
  • Manages Data Design: Facilitates functional master and transactional data design and new management processes. This responsibility involves overseeing the design and implementation of data management processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and establishing best practices for data governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with preference in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent. Advanced degree/MBA preferred.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of proven experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of people management experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Project management experience
  • Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (e.g. OMP+, APO, Blue Yonder) and ERP (e.g. JDE, SAP)
  • Experience with business process methodology.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processes with deep understanding of Supply Network Planning and/or Production Planning
  • Change management experience.

Required & Preferred Skills

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CFPIM or CIRM) desired.
  • PMP, FPX, or equivalent desired.
  • Green Belt certification desired.
  • In-depth understanding of Advanced Planning Systems (e.g. OMP+, APO and Blue Yonder) required.
  • Good communication (including to senior leadership) with the ability to adjust to the audience is required.
  • Ability to develop, master and maintain complex technology skills, with demonstrated experience as an authority is required.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple, workable solutions.
  • Proven track record of influencing/collaboration to get to desired results.
  • High level of personal initiative, ability to function autonomously with self-confidence

  • The anticipated travel for this position is 10%
  • The anticipated pay for this position is $120,000.00 to $182,070.00
