We are searching for the best talent for Commercial Lead Specialty Care, Germany.
Purpose: As a key member of the IM Germany Management Board, the Commercial Lead Specialty Care Germany drives the short-, medium-, and long-term commercial success of the Specialty Care which includes the therapeutic areas of Immunology, Neuroscience, PAH/Cardiovascular as well as our established brands portfolio. This role holds full P&L accountability at the portfolio level with more than 1B EUR sales responsibility, oversees resource allocation and ensures strategic alignment with the local operating company (OpCo) and the regional EMEA organization (ESO). A central focus is on enabling competitive, compliant, and effective in-market execution by the Sales and Marketing teams across Germany.
You will be responsible for :

Driving the short-, medium-, and long-term commercial success of the Business Unit portfolio, ensuring P&L accountability and execution excellence across Sales and Marketing teams

Developing the local business strategy and contributing to EMEA-level strategic planning
-
Defining strategic priorities and resource allocation at BU level, and aligning them with local and regional strategies

Managing cost-efficient performance of the Commercial Center of Excellence within the Business Units
-
Steering and overseeing the operational deployment of the Business Unit strategy
-
Ensuring alignment within the local Management Board and collaborating with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Health Economics/Market Access, Medical Affairs)

Representing the Management Board in interactions with internal and external stakeholders

Chairing Commercial Round Tables and serving as a member of the Management Board

Building effective teams and defining an overarching headcount and people strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Learning & Development

Establishing and maintaining a high-performing team of Business Unit Directors and People Leaders. Overall team size: approx. 180 people

Driving AI literacy and adoption across the organization, leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance business impact, optimize decision-making, and streamline processes
Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree in Science, Economics or Business is required; MBA preferred

Minimum 14 years of relevant working industry experience with at least 3 years of leadership experience as Business Unit Director (or comparable) including people leadership, ideally in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment

Must have: excellent business acumen commercial experience and skills, solid medical and scientific understanding as well robust health-economic and political knowledge

International experience in a commercial or strategic leadership role, demonstrating the ability to operate effectively across diverse markets and cultural contexts
