We are searching for the best talent for the role of Data Science - Business Product Manager to join our EMEA Data Science strategy team.
In this role, you will lead AI-powered analytics capabilities delivering world-class customer engagement during the launch of new medicines in the region. The role includes shaping new analytics offerings and processes as well as ensuring that existing capabilities are utilized to bring maximum positive impact. The capabilities can cover a broad variety of use cases from customer segmentation to personalization, and the work will be critical in shaping our next-best-action platform: a personalized and dynamic recommendation engine that optimizes customer engagement across multiple channels and touch points. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver scalable data science and AI solutions supporting the go-to-market of new medicines within EMEA region in line with global, regional and country objectives and priorities.
- Drive business value and impact of the data solutions, by ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of stakeholders, the related processes are well executed, key performance indicators are shaped and tracked, communication with stakeholders is well managed and the solutions are adopted and utilized
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders, other data science colleagues, IT partners, and external vendors, to understand the business needs and objectives, identify the data opportunities and challenges, and co-create the data solutions that address them.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the regional and local business units and functions on the area of responsibility.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous learning within the organization, by promoting the use of data and insights, sharing the best practices and learnings, and encouraging the experimentation and innovation.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the data and AI field and evaluate and adopt the new methods and tools that can enhance the data capabilities and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the data privacy and security policies and regulations and uphold the ethical and professional standards of data
- Expected to live up to our Credo principles and translate our leadership standards into way of working.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, quantitative business management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree will be a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence, customer excellence or a related field in Pharma
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and solutions that have a significant and measurable impact on the business.
- Understanding of Pharma launches and their success factors.
- Strong knowledge and experience in various data science use cases around pharma customer engagement. In depth technical knowledge around e.g. machine learning as well as related tools and programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL) will be considered a merit.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong pharma business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand the business needs and objectives and translate them into data solutions.
- Strong ethical and professional standards, with the ability to comply with the data privacy and security policies and regulations.
- Fluency in English, additional central European languages is a strong merit
Location : It is anticipated that the role holder will be based in his/her current country of residence if easy access to travel/transportation and local hosting is available at a J&J IM office.
