The SRL provides strategical security and crisis response services to all cross-sector J&J companies in the subregion Europe Central-East.
The Subregional Security Lead (SRL) Europe Central-East reports to the J&J Global Security Senior Regional Security Director EMEA.
Responsibilities
The SLR is responsible for and have proven experience in following strategic responsibilities for the Europe Central-East subregion:
1/ Crisis Response and Employee support:
o Develop crisis response and employee support plans based on plausible or effective crisis scenarios.
o Core member of the country crisis management teams (CMT).
o Support the development of the local emergency plans.
o Overall coordination of employee support actions to include but not limited to evacuations, relocations, repatriations, emergency housing, care packs, tracking and accounting.
2/ To develop and implement an annual subregional security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Priorities and the EMEA strategy.
3/ Develop and present a multi-year Strategic Masterplan for the subregion.
4/Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership.
5/ Represent J&J GS for security related topics during government inspections and J&J audits.
6/ Support the travel security program (e.g. assess safe hotel accommodations, transportation, restaurants).
7/Conduct internal investigations (e.g. theft, work place violence, employee misconduct).
8/Support HR and Business leadership during high-risk employee separations and rightsizing projects.
9/Site security:
o Perform security risk and gap assessments.
o Evaluate and determine the site risk level.
o Liaise with local law enforcement.
o Track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI’s.
o Represent Global Security at the global guarding services contract OMT governance level.
o EMEA Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC).
o Supervise operations.
o Monitor performance.
o Perform gap assessments and supervise completion of gap mitigation plans.
o Represent Global Security at the RSOC services contract SMT ( S OC M anagement T eam) governance level.
10/ Evaluate and present cost optimization opportunities and capital projects to business stakeholders.
11/Event security (e.g. large business meetings).
12/ Conduct security risk assessments for large or high-risk meetings and events to include hotels, restaurants, transportation routes, etc.
13/ Executive and travel protection assignment coordination.
14/ To conduct security assessments for private residences of business leaders and expats based in high-risk areas and provide security recommendations.
15/ Advise the J&J Real Estate team on the selection of new property location.
16/ Develop and maintain a Security culture among the employees and contractors.
17/To coordinate regular internal Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to obtain feedback from key business stakeholders on the quality and satisfaction of the overall security services as well as evaluating their expectations.
18/Representing Global Security in senior leadership forums, board-level meetings, and public engagements.
19/ Establish and maintain an external network consisting of law enforcement agencies, external security committees, industry peers, US Embassy RSO’s, key security vendors, etc..
20/ SME support for security projects:
o Review and approval of security design plans for new sites and buildings, renovation projects, etc.
o Ensure compliance with the J&J Global security minimum standards and technology.
o Liaison with local business and FM for issue resolution.
Education
Professional degree:
o Bachelor’s Degree (Must Have) or Master’s Degree (Preferred) in Criminology, Police sciences, Forensic Sciences, Security management or equivalent through experience.
o MBA (is a plus).
o Other Programs: ASIS Member or equivalent (desired); CPP – PSP certification is a plus.
Experience
o At least 10 years in a corporate security management role, preferably in a multi-national environment.
o Having operated in the subregion Europe Central-East.
o A proven and successful track record in below listed domains:
o Crisis management and response.
o Project management and execution.
o Physical security strategies and techniques.
o Security systems and technology.
o Innovation and optimization projects.
o Internal investigations.
o Root-cause analysis.
o Security risk management.
o Conduction security assessments and mitigation plan development.
