Job Purpose:

To sit within the cluster leadership team with input into strategic decisions, responsible for operational decisions to support implementation of the strategic plan and oversee revenue generation elements of KKI’s promotional roles. Responsible for coaching, leading and managing a team of Patient Journey Managers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key role within cluster leadership team, responsible for critical decision making relating to business planning and execution
  • Input into cluster cross-functional strategy, refines strategy through insight gathering, cross-functional collaboration, and iteration of tools and processes
  • Responsibility for contribution to Cluster P&L through delivery of cluster revenue targets
  • First line managerial activities, including managing a field-based team of PJMs
  • Plan the effective use of resources to achieve targets and address complex business-critical decisions e.g. budget allocation, workforce planning, product planning
  • Consolidate, prioritise and co-create initiatives with a network of peers and team members
  • Coach and review local account plans to support focus on customer and patient experience and maximising omni-channel engagement strategy
  • Build and maintain a highly proficient, scientifically literate, engaged, and enabled team, through performance management, continuous coaching and development

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical sales and management of commercial or medical teams, ideally in leadership roles
  • Experience influencing, managing, and/or leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent direct and indirect people management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas (Haematology, Oncology or Rare Disease experience beneficial)
  • Excellent local language required; good English preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of local, regional, and national health systems and care delivery processes
  • Experience engaging with and creating networks of Key External Experts / Opinion Leaders is beneficial
