Your role:

As a Transportation Analyst Architect , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our transportation data systems within the Life Science Business. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative data solutions that empower data-driven analysis and strategic initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing data architectures for our global transportation operations, ensuring seamless integration and streamlined reporting. You will collaborate with both internal teams and external service providers to establish secure API connections, enabling automated data exchange and real-time visibility. Additionally, you will oversee data governance and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you collect and interpret complex transportation data, identifying trends and opportunities for operational improvements. You will design end-to-end business intelligence solutions, contributing to the development of automated dashboards that provide insights into transportation metrics. Staying current with industry trends will be essential as you evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance our BI capabilities. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on our transportation operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) with MS Access database design and optimization.
  • You possess hands-on knowledge of Uptimize Foundry or similar data platforms.
  • You are proficient in setting up and managing API connections, including RESTful and SOAP services.
  • You have a solid understanding of data architecture practices, including ETL/ELT and data modeling.
  • You exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Fluency in English, with intercultural experience and a willingness to travel up to 5-10%.
