To support our Drug Safety & Metabolism Team in Schwabenheim (near Mainz) , we are looking for you as of now , full time, as a
Senior Scientis t (m/f /d ), Preclinical Development in Animal Health with Focus on Immunology
Your Responsibilities and Tasks :

Scientifically support Research and Development for new and existing products in animal health

Compile and assess pharmacological, toxicological, and immunological profiles of compounds through literature search and experimental testing
-
Plan, conduct, and evaluate in - house and outsourced studies according to GLP guidelines, including toxic olog y, target animal safety, pharmacokinetics, metabolism, residue depletion, immunogenicity, and monoclonal antibody characterization
-
Design and oversee immunology, and monoclonal antibody studies, including antigen characterization, immune response assays , and antibody efficacy testing
-
Compile expert reports, regulatory submissions, and scientific presentations in English for authorities and internal stakeholders

Maintain and extend contact with contract research organizations, external experts, and universities
-
Act as preclinical representative in international multidisciplinary project teams
Your Qualifications:
-
Veterinary Medicine degree, including PhD or comparable
-
Experience in Research and Development, ideally in the international veterinary pharmaceutical industry

Experience in managing animal studies, ideally according to GLP
-
Profound knowledge in pharmacology, metabolism, toxicology, immunology, and monoclonal antibody research

Experience in pharmacokinetic, metabolic, immunogenic, and monoclonal antibody evaluation of active substances and biologicals

Hands-on experience with immunological assays (e.g., ELISA, flow cytometry, neutralization tests), vaccine efficacy studies, or monoclonal antibody characterization

Precise, analytical, and creative work approach to problem solving

Fluent written and spoken English language proficiency
