The Position

Your department and team

The Gene Therapy Data & Analytics team in Penzberg is part of Roche’s Gene Therapy technical development function PTCG. We shape PTCG’s digital system landscape to maximise analytical capabilities and implement data science use cases along the entire gene therapy value chain. A focus of our team is the application of bioinformatics analysis and tools to increase product understanding.

Your host team is located in Penzberg and currently consists of nine scientists with expertise in  data science, data engineering, bioinformatics and business translation.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Design and build ETL pipelines and applications for the analysis and visualization of rAAV production and analytical data using SQL, Python and Snowflake

• Build and refine data models (information, logical and physical)

• Implement quality assurance

Your profile

• You are currently enrolled at university (studying informatics, data engineering or similar) or in a Gap year between bachelor's and master's degrees

• You are highly proficient in programming with Python and SQL. You have first experience in software development using CI/CD and Docker

• You are familiar with testing frameworks for software development

• You are proficient in English
