About the Job

Your impact:

As our Site Head of Operational Excellence , you will be the driving force behind our site's performance transformation. You'll develop and execute our Site Performance Roadmap, lead breakthrough initiatives, standardize continuous improvement through SMS 2.0, and foster a culture of operational excellence and digital innovation

Main responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership :
  Develop and maintain the Site Performance Roadmap through strategy cascading, benchmarking, and defining performance ambitions
• Performance Transformation :
  Lead execution of focused transformation initiatives and continuous improvement through SMS 2.0 ecosystem deployments
• Digital Innovation :
  Partner with Smart Factory to drive adoption of cutting-edge solutions and capture performance gains
• Supplier Excellence :
  Own material and supplier improvement initiatives as the business interface for procurement
• Performance Governance :
  Lead operational KPI management, drive financial impact tracking, and represent the site in performance reviews
• Team Development :
  Build a high-performing OpEx & Smart Factory team while fostering a performance-driven culture

About You

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (incl. operational and leadership roles)
• Knowledge of main Operational Excellence techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, CI, etc.)
• Basics of finance and strategy
• Experience in transformation and change management

Leadership and technical skills:

• Problem Solving :
  Managing priority/timeline/cost constraints and performance trade-offs with strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
• Professional communication and influencing :
  Ability to set-up and communicate organization priorities and to get buy-in from relevant stakeholders; ability to properly manage expectations
• Organizational Leadership
  Strong leadership, teamwork and decision-making skills; ability to set clear directions, motivate teams, and implement organizational change
• Operational Excellence
  Project and results-oriented mindset with ability to deliver objectives on time while driving scientific rigor and quality

Education & Languages:

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Management or Engineering
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
