As a Project Manager within the MSAT Global Project Management Organization, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of key projects within our organization. You lead cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution and planning, resource allocation, costs monitoring and risk management.

Your job, as a Project Manager within the MSAT Global Project Management Organization, is to independently coordinate end to end project activities and link with M&S and R&D stakeholders to ensure an on-time delivery and a successful launch of our new products. You drive the project team to success and to right first-time achievements.  You serve as a referent and project management subject matter expert and play a key role in the development and mentoring of Project Manager colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead large, cross-functional, and potentially international projects within the Global MSAT product pipeline, including technology transfers and new product introductions.

  • Define and plan project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop detailed project plans aligned with strategic goals.

  • Coordinate multi-site project teams, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and foster collaboration to accelerate delivery.

  • Guide the team through risk identification and mitigation strategies, proactively managing critical risks and escalating when necessary.

  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication by preparing and presenting project documentation and data-driven insights.

  • Drive adherence to MSAT Global Project Management governance, including charter initiation, gate reviews, and reporting.

  • Act as the project representative to external stakeholders and ensure alignment across all involved parties.

About you

  • Experience:

  • Proven and significant experience in project management or equivalent, ideally in life sciences or manufacturing environment

  • Track record of successful complex international / multi-site projects.

  • Proven experience in project management staff development, coaching, or service as SME.

  • Soft and technical skills :

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams toward shared goals.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Collaboration and relationship-building, fostering a positive team environment and cross-functional alignment.

  • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans.

  • Project management expertise, including planning, execution, risk management, and reporting.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planisware) and MS Office.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.

  • Education :

  • Degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, or business discipline preferred.

  • Languages :

  • Fluent in English

  • Fluent in German
