About the Role
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) (m/f/d) FcFree for Germany, you will play a key role in shaping scientific engagement within the rheumatology community. Your mission is to build purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers and advance impactful, patient value–driven initiatives. You will be the scientific field expert for FcFree assets, facilitating high quality, two-way scientific exchange, supporting evidence generation activities, and driving local medical strategy execution.
You will serve as a trusted scientific partner, connecting external insights with internal strategy to maximize patient impact.
This newly created role is part of the Patient Impact Germany organization and reports to the Field Medical Lead Rheumatology.
Who You Will Work With
In this role you will build strong internal and external networks, collaborating closely with:
- The Field Medical Lead Rheumatology, as your direct reporting line
- Cross functional teams including Medical Affairs Rheumatology, Marketing, Sales, and Market Access
- Clinical stakeholders and scientific influencers in the rheumatology community
- Advocacy organizations, medical societies, and payer decision-makers
- UCBCares for proper handling of medical information requests.
What You Will Do
- Lead field medical activities for the FcFree rheumatology portfolio, with a focus on Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Execute the local FcFree field medical plan and track performance against strategic objectives.
- Identify, engage, and manage key scientific and medical stakeholders within the local rheumatology ecosystem.
- Identify and drive innovative initiatives that create new sources of patient value (e.g., local medical education solutions).
- Support local evidence generation efforts.
- Act as the leading scientific expert on FcFree in the field.
- Collect and share scientific insights to shape value propositions and internal strategy.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Master’s degree in biomedical discipline, pharmacy or medicine (Ph.D. preferred).
- Strong medical and scientific expertise, ideally in rheumatology or immunology
- Ability to translate scientific and clinical data into relevant and compelling value propositions
- Proven experience in developing and executing impactful field medical strategies
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities
- High level of business acumen and a focus on delivering scientific value to external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of medical governance and compliance standards
- Ability to work cross functionally and drive collaborative, patient oriented solutions
