Trainee (m/f/d) Sales Support

Monheim am Rhein, Germany

We are looking for a Trainee (m/f/d) as a Sales Support who is collaborative, curious, and care-focused to join our Rare and Epilepsy team, based at our UCB office in Monheim am Rhein, Germany .

About the role

This role is not a traditional traineeship. From day one, you will become a full member of a dedicated team and take on meaningful operational tasks within a defined functional area. You will actively contribute to concrete projects and day‑to‑day activities while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. The position is offered as a fixed-term entry role for 2 years designed to give you a solid start into your career.

You will begin your career in a role where learning, purpose, and real contribution come together. You are going to gain hands-on experience across sales support activities while helping teams create better experiences for patients and the people who care for them. From your first steps, you will build practical knowledge, strengthen your confidence, and discover how human understanding and scientific purpose connect in meaningful everyday work.

Who you will work with

You will join a welcoming team that values encouragement, shared learning, and open collaboration. You are going to work with supportive colleagues across the Rare and Epilepsy team and with internal partners who will help you understand how ideas become action. Experienced team members will guide your development, answer questions, and help you grow your confidence as you contribute to projects, events, and everyday teamwork.

What you will do

  • support training preparation and coordination for partner-facing processes.
  • help organize regional and national sales support events.
  • manage invitations and participate in coordination for meetings and events.
  • prepare and share sales materials following agreed guidance.
  • support field administration, expense handling, and event reconciliations.
  • maintain data and help prepare simple reports and presentations.

Interested?

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

  • vocational training in business administration expected like Industrial Business Management Assistant or Office Management Assistant, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience welcomed
  • Strong German and good English skills for everyday collaboration.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools like PowerPoint, expert of using Excel
  • Curious mindset and enthusiasm for learning through experience.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills required for reporting and analysis.
  • Comfort collaborating across teams and growing through new experiences
